“ The food is great, especially the karaage and the shio ramen. The prices have gone up over the years, but they’re still reasonable. The staff are kind, though the restaurant can get pretty loud. Overall, really good food and service. ”
“ My absolute favorite place in Oslo when it comes to eating Miso Ramen! I have been eating both here and Koie in Bjørvika many times, and I can for sure say that the taste of Miso Ramen here is way better than the other Koie. Many of my friends have the same experience. It’s a small cozy place to eat and go, since it is usually very crowded, and the seats are not designed for a long time eating experience. The staff are helpful and friendly and make you feel very welcome. ”
“ One of the best ramen places we have recently been to. The chicken one was tasty but quite basic. We also tried the one with minced pork which was delicious (a bit spicy). The fried chicken was extremely tasty and very tender on the inside. The gyoza was also delicious. They have some teas to choose from and then they refill your tea water. The yuzu sake was refreshing and an interesting combination of tastes. ”
“ Koie Ramen is one of the best ramen places in Oslo. Very popular, a bit crowded maybe, but the food is well worth it. Even though the place was full and I had to sit in the bar, I only waited for around 15 minutes for my food. I ordered "Shoyu" with extra pork belly. Very tasteful broth, tender meat and the best part (imo); the eggs. I'm a big guy and love food, with the Karaage I left full. The Karaage (fried chicken) is also delicious, crisp and tender with a good dip. Everything is well paired with some Japanese beer. ”
